more medium format envy on Flickr.Izmir, Turkey - July 2011 I shot this at the Alsancak Railway Station (Alsancak Gari in Turkish). It’s the second oldest railway station built in Turkey (1856), connecting the fertile lands of the Aegean region to the (once) bustling seaport of Izmir. Alsancak is also the neighborhood where I was born and raised. Btw, for actual very good medium format photography, check out the work of Mike Peters - he also has a flickr account.
